On December 5th, many of Sutton's most interesting sites will be celebrating Christmas. Several historic trolleys will transport you caroling through one of New England's most picturesque towns at the height of the Christmas season.
For the past three years, the Sutton Garden Club has participated in the annual Chain of Lights event by sponsoring a wreath decorating contest called the Festival of Wreaths. Anyone can participate by simply filling out the registration form and choosing your decorating theme. There are six categories including holiday, country, whimsical, victorian, door/swag and youth(16 and under). The wreaths are displayed in the parlor at the Sutton Congregational Church - a favorite trolley stop - where visitors can vote for their choice. The prize is $25.00 for each category and an additional $25.00 for the winner of the Viewer's Choice.
